Pilates Instructor

 

Do Yeon has a nursing license in Korea and New York, and worked as a nurse in Seoul National University Hospital for 15 years. Her motto “A healthy body makes for a healthy mind and life” eventually led her to switch jobs to becoming a Pilates instructor. With her versatile experience in nursing, medical work, Pilates, Yoga, Spinning, Tango, Jazz dance and Ballet Fit, she is equipped to teach stretching, body balance and muscle strengthening for clients.

 

“My class will be programmed according to your physical condition, exercise level with consideration of gender, age and injury. I would like to be a ‘friend for the healthy life’ for my clients.” – Do-Yeon

 

한국에서 발급 하는 2개의 필라테스 강사 자격증을 취득하였고, 한국 간호사 면허증, 뉴욕 간호사 면허증을 보유하고 있습니다.

 

서울대 병원에서 오랜기간 간호사로 근무 하며, “건강한 신체가 건강한 생각과 마음을 만든다” 라는 말을 몸소 깨달았습니다. 누군가를 건강하게 해주기 위해 나의 몸과 마음을 먼저 건강하게 하자는 마음으로 필라테스를 시작했고, 그 필라테스의 효과와 매력에 빠져 이제는 회원님들과 함께 호흡 하고 있습니다.

 

오랜 간호사 경력과 의학적 지식, 그리고 발레핏, 요가, 웨이트의 경험을 바탕으로 스트레칭, 몸의 발란스 향상, 코어 강화, 근력 강화를 안전하게 지도 하고 있습니다. 저의 수업은 성별, 연령, 부상여부를 모두 고려하여, 회원님들의 신체 조건, 운동의 목적, 개개인의 운동레벨에 맞추어 안전하게 프로그램이 진행 됩니다.

회원님들의 건강한 몸과 마음, 운동이 습관으로 자리잡는 Healthy life 를 위해, 그 길을 ‘함께 걷는 친구’ 가 되어 드리고자 합니다.
